Artist kolpeace hand picks two high school junior/seniors to lead one commission public art project during the summer.Each youth recieves a honorarium , hands on experience with the artist, and life long mentorship (from local and national artist) even after college.
This prestigious program involves artist workshops, training & opportunities, art institutional visits, and artmaking in the community, meeting local establish & rising artist that use & can teach a range of mediums/techniques in efforts to create a skill in a safe space/ environment for social and emotional development through the arts, youth engagement &
employment, and beautifying their community.
